is it possible to use own maps or maybe even other map sites?
like in Finland we have this "Citizens Mapsite" where do we can get topographical maps, like this

There is limits to download maps from Mapsite, but someguy has written python script to load maps with some random times between picture loading, so it looks like someone is surfing
In this python script you put middle point and x an y distance example 10kilometres, and it loads sometime. when it's finished it has done one picture from selected area and coordinate/calibrate file. and these files are direct compatible with windows oziexplorer.
I put some example picture and calibration file later today...

(note: please don't use these URLs in Maemo Mapper - they will not work, because they are concrete instances of maps, not the generic "URL Format" that you enter into Maemo Mapper's settings.)

i still cannot get announcements... after gnuite fixed the problem..
i dont know if i should get rid of my already cached maps and saved routes and download again?

Hi there, Gnuite, and IT fans -
First of all, thanks for creating the best IT app so far...
I have just 2 comments :
- I Have not yet done the BT reset functionality by entering the text on your homepage as root (user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/hciconfig hci0 reset) in the proper location. BUT, I don't get dropouts, only I seem to have to 'kickstart' the GPS BT connection at first but enabling it a few times - what l found is that I seem to need to be moving for it to catch on.
- Does the BT plugin available from the maemo repository do any good? or is it already included with Mapper?
