I first downloaded the app by following these instructions, basically the user needs to enable test-extras, by adding a new catalog. If you cant do this then it's best that dosbox is left well alone!
http://maemocentral.com/2009/12/29/h...ith-one-click/
Thanks for the link there Yorg.
Once you have downloaded dosbox and installed you will no doubt like myself have the problem of not being able to use the ":" this one char makes life a living hell as you can easily mount the home folder but cant then get access to it also "\" would be ultro usefull. Thanks therfore goes to javispedro for giving us the rover.sys file. Just pop this file into the MyDocs folder and bosh ur done, leading to the next problem how to get it in there.
What I did was use the xterm and a few command lines I foiund on various other posts to copy the files to the MyDocs folder, so once in xterm it's
cd /home/user/.dosbox
This is what the folder is called on my phone, once in this folder use ls to chack and make sure the dosbox config file is located within by typing "ls" at the prompt the linux equavalent to dir
Now we need to copy the file to the MyDocs folder so we can alter it, again I searched the net and found the "cp" command is used for copying so the full command looks like this (please remember to be in the .dosbox folder as this command assumes this, also make note of th upper case MyDocs as is case sensative)
cp dosbox-0.73.conf /home/user/MyDocs
if you were not in the dosbox folder use
cp /home/user/.dosbox/dosbox-0.73.conf /home/user/MyDocs
Now we have the config file ready for editing in the MyDocs folder, one could now use file manager to check to make sure the file is there, I then downloaded leafpad and used this to edit the conf file it's REALLY easy to use, so just open the file, move down to the bottom and add the line
mount c /home/user/MyDocs
c:
This will mount your Mydocs folder as c and then change to c. at his point you should be home and dry, using the command I provided to copy the config file to MyDocs you should be able to work out how to copy it back to the .dosbox folder... If not then please leave Dosbox alone! all that needs doing is downloading the rover.sys file mentioned earlier and placing this into the MyDocs folder and you should then be able to run the keyb rover.sys us
YAY! Dos with all the keys... well most of the keys
Hopefully I havent left anything out, a word of warning though, If you cant do any of these steps then I think it's best you leave dosbox alone. Please be carefull so as not to ruin THE best phone out there!
