2nd that. finally some professional effort. hopefully the developers forward the price-savings to us, which they get by not distributing over itunes

they dont get nothing extra they still lose 30% by publishing via Nokia/Ovi store. so no savings to pass on to customers

Actually, that's 30-50%, depending on the price.

i read it was 30%/70% split after network operator took there cut if operator billing was used, networks used to have extortionate fees in UK dont know if its same now but if i was a publisher i would accept credit card payments only

AFAIK No. 30%/70% is for credit cards. With operator billing you get between 50%/50% and 40%/60% depending on item value (see 4.4 of Ovi Publisher Terms & Conditions).
