Great work, I was hoping for from the day I bought my N900. Thanks.
Will there be other Language Versions? I would be happy with a german one.

Will try and see how it can be done. I switched my phone language to german and I could see menu titles and dates changing to german but the text values in the app, like Days, Months, Weeks, prorate etc remain in english. I presume you meant to translate them as well ?

I will not promise , since I dont know how I can do it at the moment , but will certainly look into it.

In the leaked PR1.2, there is a keyboard feature that if you long press a key, you get the alternate blue function. For example hold A to get *. This does't work in Buddy. It is helpful when entering text. Could this be added in the future?

we shall see when PR1.2 comes out and if QT4.6.2 thats bundled along with it supports this "keyboard feature" .
But my guess is it will be, its not something a developer would need to do specifically I think, I will be surprised if so.

*EDIT* btw this app is built using QT4.6, but the one from PR1.1.

New version 0.1-8 uploaded to the repository.

Buddy is now translated to the following languages on request. English is the default if your locale isnt supported.

• German
• Dutch
• Russian
• Spanish
• Arabic*
• Finnish*

After the update , Buddy will open in your language based on what locale you have set on the device.

The translations may be funny because Im not a linguist , Ive just used google translate to translate each of the 180 phrases in the app, to those languages, it was a manual copy paste so mistakes cant be ruled out.
I'll be more than happy and glad if you could help with the translation. Please PM/mail me if you wish to help me with it.

few days ago i sent an email to ask about the key for this app without need to donate,

then i got response on email with this ..

"The app is fully functional anyways," included the KEY for the app.

Noticed also that the budget is restricted to 999,999.00
How about if you are using currencies that exceed that?

do you have PR1.2 now ?
I just uninstalled and installed it again, works fine.
also did you refresh your repos ?

yes currently the currency amount is limited to 999999.99.
but even in your currency would you really use amounts from 0 to 999999, can you not read it as a multiple of 100 or 1000 ?
for example treat 123 as 123000.
I could patch it easily if you wish to remove that limitation in a later release. Will add this to my change list.
