Is the goofing a new trolling now? I'm trying to be up-to-date here

This PC World article has expressed at least my feelings perfectly:

Nokia and Yahoo Team Up: Does Anyone Care?

E.g., after reviewing some of the recent excitement generated by Android and the iPhone, he writes:

But when's the last time you've heard anyone get excited about anything on the way from Nokia? Or Yahoo?

Can you imagine this conversation taking place at a cell phone retailer this summer?

Customer: "Gosh, I just can't decide which phone to get. The latest Droid is awesome, but the new iPhone looks pretty cool, too."

Salesperson: "Well, sir, this Nokia 5230 now features built-in Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger."

Customer: "HOLY HAMBURGERS! Forget those other phones. Give me Nokia NOW!"

So your feelings are that phones that arent flagships should not have any new features to them and companies shouldnt try to add any service to a phone that isnt a their top of the range phone?

Or that people should only buy top of the range phones even if it is not in there budget?

Dont get me wrong, I'm not overly excited by the Yahoo / Nokia alliance, but lets face it, it can only help nokia with online service delivery since they seem to have no idea by themselves...
