I'm getting missing dependencies when I try to install this. Using app manager it tells me it's missing libqt-4-test and libqt-4-script

Apt-get install tells me it's missing python2.5-qt4.

Any ideas please?

Any tell me how to get the missing dependencies??? Apt-get install on each of the above fails with either package not found or more dependency failures!

on my device the TVC player runs very nicely, thanks very much for an excellent addon to n900.

My only issue is that video and audio are slightly out of sync (it's small, probably 0.25 sec max, but still noticable). Is there any way for the user to add an offset (while viewing, maybe via keyboard?) to compensate?

EDIT: just realisd this is an inbuilt option in mplayer, + and - keys adjust the audio delay. I promise to RTFM before asking next time, my bad :-)

EDIT2: very impressed by the recording performance - produced an excellent quality recording and the CPU load (I'm OC'd @ 850Mhz) was very light too (averaged about 20% during my test recording), which I hadn't expected.

According to
http://maemo.org/packages/repository...u_pr1-2_armel/ libqt4-test and libqt4-script are in "Maemo 5 device SSU repository (PR1.2)". My Application manager says this repository is down, and I suppose that is why your installation fails. I hope this is just a temporary problem and repository comes back up soon.

I'm not sure this is the case actually. If I apt get install any other of the libqt packages, it knows the latest version is installed, but for -test and -script it tells me it is referred to by another package which suggest to me that the issue is not that the repository is down. I am also not getting anything telling me any catalogs were not refreshed which normally happens if a repo is down.

When installing with x-term I get python2.5-qt4 missing so thought "maybe if I installed pyqt it might install the missing dependencies" but I get the same missing dependencies

I have searched the forums for libqt4-test and libqt4-script and there are a few posts asking for help, but no answer, and a few where devels have had to remove those dependencies.

Have you checked that you do have PR1.2 installed? Settings/About product should report a version number starting with 10.2010
