It happens without SD card usage.
High CPU usage happens only while playing (not when paused).
Which Audible format do you use? I use format 3. I'll try with format 2.
Any other ideas?

I really need this when working on the floors so could someone please be kind enough to post this file for me?

Many thanks ahead.

I use format 3 also. It does use a lot of CPU, but I have listened to it for hours without its stuttering. But I AM overclocking. Maybe that explains the difference. 850 mHz.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I had Garnet beta 5(the last previous beta, before this new one) on my n800. Unfortunately, when I downloaded and installed audible, it crashed my Garnet. So I now have the newer beta 6 installed, and am keeping far away from Audible.

Perhaps you may still have an old Access email somewhere in your inbox - sometimes i have this issue when i try to download another copy of the VM from their site and i still have the original email from my first download. (I'm assuming they do this fro copyright protection.)

I think this product has great potential for increasing the base of N900 users. Take a look at this article's comments:

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/cell-phone...plications/434

However, there is a problem of perception. Notice that no one on the comments mentioned anything about using Garnet under a Nokia device, in spite of the fact that it was mentioned in the article that it was already possible to do that. The reason is that when people read that line, their brain gets confused (Nokia? Virtual Machine? Uhh?) and unconsciously ignore it. What they all wanted to hear was that Palm (something they know and recognize) will be able to run their old Palm programs. Here is where marketing needs to come in and illustrate (make their brain familiar with) the ease of using Garnet Vm on the N900.

At least this is a pretty good answer to those who cry for more apps. There are lots and lots of Palm apps. Most of them aren't worth running (I think), but people who want quantity should be happy.

That statement is true of any OS. However, if you are trying to imply that there aren't good (even) killer Palm OS applications then you would be wrong. As an example, take "Smart Lists to Go" (formerly known as ThinkDB until purchased by Dataviz). This is an incredibly smart application. It is a relational database creator with a GUI. You create a database, create what fields you want and choose the type of fields they are, then place them on the form where you want them to appear in however many tabs you desire, all through a very simple GUI. There is nothing like it on any other mobile device that I have seen. Even on the desktop, a program like this would be amazing. I have created some very useful databases using this program. I have been trying to make do with OpenOffice spreadsheets since I moved to the N900 which is definitely a big step down.

And that is just one example.
