I'm still seeing a bug where, when I add a package to install, it automatically scrolls back to the same point (in the middle of packages starting with "C"), which is very annoying if I'm trying to install a number of packages. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, sorry I forgot about that. When I tested the app I usually didn't scroll down enough to see the bug

It's a Qt bug I guess, having the QListWidget layoutMode set to batched causes it to scroll down only to the end of the first batch when an item is changed.

Anyway, it was fixed by setting layoutMode to single pass. I'll upload a new version later today.

I tried to install ur application but am getting error "Unable to install 'Faster appl manager'. Incompatible appl package". We too r planning to implement application similar to this kind. But am afraid that the application should not be duplicate of urs. So can u please provide us the description of the application?

Uhh... What device are you trying to install it on and how?

See the first post of the thread for that.

That would require a custom version of apt-get to be installed, which I guess cannot be done if the app is ever to go to extras.
E: Or maybe not, I haven't actually installed anything from Ovi store for ages
Need to take a look at that after everything else is done.

Thanks for the new version, works way better now than the first one. If I may, I'd suggest you to add to the apps info about what repository they are from. I'm very suspicious about updates now, since I have no way to see what repository the update is from (other than shutting down other repositories, which in my opinion is not a solution).

Is it possible to hide apps (forever, or until a new version becomes avaiable at least) because when using the nokia app manager I often find my self scrolling through a long list of apps i know i'll never install, be nice to be able to hide alot of them

^ that, pretty please, can we get a package blacklist? So much stuff I will never install. And volume buttons font could be nice as well, but mainly the ban thing.

Pretty please?
