AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'core'
I have the same problem, not only with Destroids but also with other Pygame applications like Maesynth.

It all begun wit a dependency problem with libsdl-ttf.2.0-0. See this thread:

I've also find this problem in MyPaint, Maesynth and Maelophone.

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'core'
That the shortcoming of the dependencies principle, there is a new version of pygame you can try (1.9.1) in extras-devel. Basicly, that's what you can do, playing with the versions of the problematic packages. I wish I could be more helpful.

Have a look here. Perhaps this solves the pygame-problem.

i love the game and the joystick ,it would be reallly really cool if we implement the joystick into psx4m
