Yes, it's the same solution as matan says
But the difference is that you don't need to resize any icon, the hildon-home does it for you.
EDIT:
IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
As I sayd before, you are mounting the real hildon-home.launch binary, NOT replacing it.
That's why you loss all changes on reboot.
If it works well, then REPLACE hildon-home.launcher with the one I gave you and forget to mount.

Working in bookmarks widgets.

Btw, don't use killall hildon-home, it will cause many widgets to disappear and they must be re-added manually. Instead use this (run as user, not root):
dsmetool -k /usr/bin/hildon-home
dsmetool -t /usr/bin/hildon-home
dsmetool -k /usr/bin/hildon-home
dsmetool -t /usr/bin/hildon-home

Ok guys
Try this version
commands:
gconftool -s /apps/osso/hildon-home/task-shortcuts-size -t int XX ---> XX = icon size
gconftool -s /apps/osso/hildon-home/task-shortcuts-back -t int X ---> X icon background (0=no, 1=yes)
gconftool -s /apps/osso/hildon-home/task-bookmarks-size -t int XX ---> bookmarks size (width size, the rest is autosized)
Have fun
EDIT: If you decrease bookmarks size you will loss the bookmarks labels (think that's because it doesn't fit in space), sorry for this...

I can now have the bookmarks on the same page as my icons, cal-home-widget and still have room left for more. Just contacts that are missing now....

Do have idea if it's possible to resize contact shortcuts also? I suppose it's not possible via hildon-desktop since they seem to be own binary (/usr/bin/osso-abook-home-applet).

This thread got awfully silent.. did you start up on this plugin D-livil? Are there any progress? Maybe we should start a new thread on this cause this "fix" is a lot better than the script i made.
