I'd like to see the iPhone running Debian!

The thing that rubs me most about the N900, is not anything to do with the device itself, but the field of invisibiity surrounding it to almost everyone.

Smartphone bloggers and journalists etc who should appreciate it, completely overlook it, when moaning about Symbian, Android, and iOS devices which do not have stereo speakers, lens covers, microSD slot. Basically everything that the N900 has in spades.

Wait... wut? You'll think your phone is a brick and hit your significant other with it? Why would you even? I mean. It's nothing like a brick.

Also, why are you hitting them with bricks dude. Not cool.

I'd like a Kindle and Audible app. I could do with an ATT 3g band as TMO doesn't support my slice of life.

More love from the development communities.

Overall though, I'm very happy with it. Android is starting to get functional enough to be attractive, but not enough for me to go off budget yet to get a new device. Maybe in a year or two, but by then Meego/Symbian could also be of interest.

The exclusion of groups (one of my FAVORITE things about the N95) was a big let down. It provided a way (me being a promoter and a ladies man) to stay in contact with multiple people at ONE time extremely easy and efficient.

The fact that its more of a computer is great, but it loses out on its phone capabilities. For example. The fMMS app is faulty on my n900. There should be an integrated way to receive picture messages as that is a MMS is a feature of every phone today.

These are two of my biggest dislikes about the n900. In totality, they took away from what already worked in previous Nokia Nseries handsets.

All in all, its a GREAT device though. The good FAR outweigh the bad.

n900 is the truth! 2010 was a terrible yr for me in so many ways, but my n900 kept me on my feet. im skipping the n8, sticking to my n900 and i hope the n9 will blow me away so i can let this baby rest.

I hate the fact that any large extraction or copy makes the device reboot. this was introduced in pr 1.3. I hate the fact that Nokia put minimal effort into it and is basically just letting it die.

That said it is the only device of its kind and this community has done a great job with little support.
