You could get a Zagg skin and cover up the crack. If it's in 2 pieces, use superglue first.

I have to do something like that. I am 17 thats why I dont even have a credit card to buy it online.

Uhm... If we're talking in terms of "should've", should we not mention personal responsibility first as well?

Assuming OP speaks the truth and is not just playing another stupid/boring game, I find it quite silly to position your device in such a way that this "accident" could actually take place.

I think OP has answered it in his post above.

She's interested in gaming, so it's likely that she wants to see how her bf was doing in the game as she walks into the room to sit beside him.

Then again, I've no idea what goes in the minds of kids these days.

Stupid girlfriend stepped over my N900.
Wow, if she did that much damage by stepping OVER it, good thing she didn't step ON it
