I am noticing significant drop in download speeds. Is it only me. Can any one confirm this. i Think it may have to do with the new way of sending packets to reduce battery consumption . say What???

This morning I've got one of the infamous reboot loops. More details at my Maemopeople blog.

Anybody experiencing terrible browsing? I have to connect (load a URL) several times to actually see the browser start loading the page. Usually it stays at Connecting...
Doesn't happen with all the sites, though. Is there a way to reset Opera settings to the new OS's default?

Do i have to wait until everybody has installed their N800 before i can use the repositories again? Or is this also a connectivity problem? My repos don't refresh and any installations from the repos time out on the download part. I install now by downloading to my PC, sending it to the N800 over bluetooth and install from there. Doesn't work always, though (eg. GMail Notifier).

probleme reappeared this morning. Opera on N800 takes ages to load ITT, or does not load at all. Other websites such as www.bbc.co.uk load perfectly. My laptop opens ITT from the same wireless base perfectly.

I suspect a security / encryption conflict between WLAN base (Netgear) and N800/OS Upgrade /OPera.

What s peculiar about ITT site? server capacity?

Does anyone have this problem?

Exactly. same websites. But other website do open without pb right?

Can someone shed some light on what is specific about ITT, Youtube, and Gmail?

I note that on BOTH ITT and Gmail there is online app to write (word processing).

I would leave you a comment, but your blog is accusing me of being a spammer! I'll leave the comment here instead...

I don't believe any attempt has been made to fix bugs in the RSS reader, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to find the RSS reader is crapping out your device.

Given that the RSS application is a suspected cause of reboot loops, one has to question Nokia's decision not to address the numerous problems with this appalling application.
