I have just uploaded a pre-release version of 1.1. Notable additions are to-do support as well as event templates allowing you to customise where and how information is displayed. Please note that this release only contains full translations for English and German as I did not yet have time to push the updated strings to the translators.

It is available at https://www.bithub.de/philip/calenda...0.89_armel.deb

For more information about the template system see https://gitorious.org/harmattan-orga...late+support**

I installed it and tested it with to do's. Works nicely, but how often does it refresh? Normally it changes immediately, but now when i delete a task, it's still on the feed screen after refreshing.. but I didn't reboot after installation.. Is that necessary?

version 1.0.9 (link above) doesn't seem to do it for me. after installing, tasks show up on the feed screen, but don't go away when i delete them in the calendar. also, new tasks and calendar entries aren't added to the feed screen.
i uninstalled and reinstalled twice, rebooted enough times to be sure that's not the problem.
apart from that, very nice work and many thanks

Ok that is rather odd - do you have the Terminal installed and can you please verify if the daemon is running (i.e. run "pgrep organiserfeedd" without the "" and check if it returns a number).

If it does not can you please check what happens when you run /opt/organiserfeed/bin/organiserfeedd (i.e. does it kick you back into the console with a Segmentation fault or does it keep running - you can then terminate it using Ctrl + C).

Hi chillip,

Just wanted to mention that the tasks also work great in my case (sync my work calendar with MfE and Exchange 2010).

Nice work. I hope you solve the OVI problems soon - they should help you not stop you.
Thanks

i did what you said (mind you i'm a complete zero when it comes to code, the only programming i ever did was on a scientific calculator in high school)
had to find out that i had to use devel-su to become root first. after that i entered both "pgrep organiserfeedd" and "pgrep organiserfeed", without the "" of course, because i thought you made a mistake by typing one d too many.

both came up with a 4-digit number (2xxx) can't remember because i accidentally swiped the terminal away, thereby closing it. so to recheck the numbers i opened terminal again, and did the same. this time: no results (both pgrep organiserfeed and pgrep organiserfeedd).
i double-checked this because it's odd.

following your second instruction: i did that too, and it came back with some lines of code, ending with 'done loading events', 'updating feed', 'enabled feed'.
then i checked the feed screen, and organiserfeed entries had disappeared.

rebooting does add the new calendar entries and the to-do's to the feed screen. as i mentioned, adding entries to the calendar, then swiping to feed screen and hitting 'refresh' doesn't. on previous versions, all organiserfeed entries would briefly disappear and come back including the new ones when i hit refresh;

also, what vihru said in the previous post.
