White N9 winner in Dubai


Ms. Syma won Nokia-UAE's New Year competition, she visited the Nokia office this morning to claim her White Nokia N9... lucky girl!

Haha i still want the white. I just ordered the black 64gb and should arrive today. I wouldn't be able to get a white until end of March from UAE. And I still don't know what the price is there. I'm assuming close to $780 USD which is out of my range.

Hey all, as most of you know, I've been calling and pestering Overseas Electronics, better known as welectronics.com for the past few months about the white N9. Well, my persistance paid off. This morning I received a call informing me that white N9's would be in stock later today (early tomorrow). I immediately placed an order for one and was told it would most likely ship to me on Monday but there's a chance it could ship on Saturday. The white N9 is almost mine. I'll report back here once I get it to let you all know if it's branded, what firmware it has and any other questions you may have. Needless to say, this weekend is going to be excruciatingly long.

If it's running PR 1.1.1 - more than likely Dubai or Saudi Arabia.

I'm traveling to Perth via Dubai in 2 weeks. Does anyone know if you can pick up the N9 (any color) in one of the airport shops. I have a 2 hour transfer and it sure would make the 24 hour trip from NYC worth it.
