the big screens are useful if you are watching a video or playing a game, but for me the N9 is the biggest I would want, since I primarily use it as a phone and carry it in my pants pocket

but I do see the potential for a big screen

The size of the Nokia 920 is actually closer to what size I want/need whereas the N9 is borderline too small for my bigger hands.

But to be honest, the Lumia 920 isn't a bad phone. I've had some experience with it, but instead of upgrading from the Lumia 900 to it, I went back to the N9 and will await for BB10 to come out instead. Or Jolla. Or Tizen. Or Firefox OS.

I just cannot buy into Windows Phone 8 after the upgrade path was once again broken from WP7.5 - some phones didn't upgrade from WP7 to WP7.5 and then all WP7.5 phones didn't upgrade to WP8, which I just cannot support.

wow! thats huge for me. i dont know about all android but if you want a huge phone like that i can suggest galaxy note 2 which is a nice phone compared to other android devices in my opinion.

sad that there isn't actually a company that makes a big screen non-android os device.

hope that they don't make 5-6 inch windows phones.

So i gave an honest list, not sure what else you are supposed to do on a thread named that, iguess it hit a nerve
Which reminds me, there was a list about the annoying things and features done wrong on WP7 (http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44034 )

Has anybody compiled a similar list on WP8? I am of course not familiar with that OS but I have seen some references that even the most wanted features for WP7 are still missing on WP8...

there is one over there on Wpcentral, but I guess most of the true critiques have been censored out.

some of the stuff from that WP7 list is still applicable for WP8 from my personal experience with my wife's 920

when she first got it, it was like once a week she was asking me to figure out how to fix this or that
