I think if you have earlier version of that application installed it wont ask with normal "do you trust this package" window it just installs it.

I am testing this with nineshark installation...
1. Uninstall
2. Install via regular install method...
next thing that happens is that the window appears (do you trust this package....)
this is usually followed by the window with the progress bar which doesn't show!

Maintainer, Homepage, Size, Show Manifest. It'd be good for the landscape ui not to be broken 
Scrolling is ok, but 2 panel (like phone app on n900 layout) would be the best.

I dont see that screen also but why do you need it?
You can see when installation is finished from spinner in applauncher.
