The latest Maemo version is 0.5.1732 and it is available from the openrepos site...

OK, downloaded latest 0.5.1732 from openrepos.net site. Install fails on N900 - asking for applauncherd-launcher; libqtcore4(>=4.7.4-git20110517); libqtgui4(>=4.7.4-git20110517)...
Next hitch is that there is no application in the master list, so cannot create Desktop shortcut. Anyone can provide the work-a-round for this kind of issue? The application does show up in the app-manager as a candidate for un-installation, if desired.
Thanks for any help that you can provide. So close and yet still so far ...

At this point you could then use "X Terminal" application and then enter "root" terminal mode as above. Now copy the file from the "File manager" saved location to the "/usr/share/applications/hildon/" location.

qgvdial on the maemo repositories has not been updated.
I've yet to figure out how to do that correctly.
