Should be.. you just need to transfer folder .N9QTweakBackup to your phone...
If you want to do this from the phone, press OK on the question "Couldn't open the file
N9QTweakBackup_5.4_allzipp because the format is wrong
and gives the option of OK or Cancel", open this file with app FileBox and extract it to /home/user/MyDocs (this is NOT Documents folder, it's root directory for users)

Do you succeeded with transferring of backup folder ?
If X (option 2) not work, go to HH and choose option 2 then press enter...
Reset will not help you..

It's should to help... Maybe you put backup folder in the wrong place.. I don't know.. When you transferred backup folder to your phone, do you asked about override ? I ask this because you told me that you did backup (tweak K), You need to override your backup folder with my one...
ZIP file from the first post is not empty, it's include backup folder...

Open terminal and write:
rm -f /home/user/.mms/profile.conf
And tell me what you get.. And check you conversation app..

OK,, so I have the zipped file on my mac.. should I just drag it into the N9, or any specific location in the N9 ??
Very sorry for the confusion, but I'm really nervous that I can't get messaging feature to work as I love this phone and I just got it a month ago in White.

You need extract .N9QTweakBackup folder from zip and transfer this folder to your phone, into: /home/user/MyDocs
