So why did the finns in the board of directors hire him? Ultimately it's the majority shareholders that approve or kick out a CEO.

Ovi Store would be nice. I'm thinking of taking a look at that once there's a nice moment to go through all the details that have to be sorted out with the submission. But it'll be free for sure And you can already install the app for free using the repository listed in my blog post.

The gestures work anywhere, even in the lock screen. Multitasking view was just a nicer place to demonstrate since it's mostly with a black background.

>2.when we assign an app to a particular gesture. can you add icon preview nect to the applications name for easier selection?
Didn't have time to implement this yet, but yes, it's on the improvements list.

> 3. do we need to leave mymove open all the time and open it everytime we restart n9?
No, there's no need for that. MyMoves comes with a server which handles the recognition, and the server is automatically started after you boot and immediately after the app is installed.

Bribery, threats, I don't know, and I don't have the money or time to investigate it, but it is pretty obvious and it is very clear Nokia stocks have dropped dramatically since Elop so there has to be something dirty going on for them to let him remain after that and history shows microhard could give a flying f**k about monopoly laws.

Under the U.S. Logan act it is a felony offense for any member of the federal or state government to meet with members of a foreign government without the express authority and authorization of the president or congress.

As far as I know Canada has no such law so who knows what the hell is going on over there. We don't know how dirty it has become.

Despite the law there are governors etc., from the U.S. that violate it knowingly.

They(the board) of course knew about the strategy he was putting out, there's no such company that would kick a CEO out under a year when he haven't been able to get his plan out. That if anything would make it clear that there's not even a clear direction.

For anything at least he is faster than OPK, who it did take 4 years and a bit of Elop's time in a CEO seat before his plans became in to fruition.
Imo OPK should always be remembered as the guy who brought Nokia down. Elop is just the aftermath.

i think it's unfair to just blame OPK, things began to stagnate before he took over as CEO, and the board are accountable for their choices too.

back on topic though. anyone confirm if the software can indeed handle java?

Who gives a crap if I like rich people or not! The point here is that if you are becoming rich by walking over other peoples rights and other people's economies (Finland) and spinning it in press releases as something else then you are a walking piece of dung.

Elop does nothing worth his enormous salary. He is not a leader, he is an IHOP chef posing as a CEO but yet he gets so much more money than you or me.
Do you care nothing for fairness? This guy needs to get swiped the f*&* out and replaced with a Finnish person that actually gives a crap about the country and company.

I am really angry.

If English is not your first or second language then stop calling yourself Chuck

or maybe I will email the real Chuck and get him to come on here.
Apartly the stockholders and the owners of the companys likes him and think he is right else he as already been fired...

summary: it doesnt matter what a few people here thinks about that ashole, or more "asholes". Cause this is not only ELop.

Bussiness as always...

Maybe it's ok for you. I'm a writer and while working on a text when the vk pops out I am unable to see more than 2 3 or 4 lines so hk is a must for me if I'm supposed to work on my phone with some ammount of comfort. Ofcorse it's doable but it's all about comfort and help of my every day life

It's happen all over the world. It's never fair to lose money. What do you think the German people says if the banks don't handle the lost loan and the government have to save Greece which can't be saved? Nokia is small money compered to this. These money could be used to send a free n9 to every human on the planet...Or even better free doner to everyone.
