WinSCP+OpenSSH gives access to hidden folders such as /root. Now i've read some people say that you don have to put the files in /root. In my guide, I was following KaKaroto's instructions to put them in root.
While connected to the n900 via USB. just put the files anywhere on your N900 that the Mac can see.
Then on the n900. navigate to that place via terminal and run the script. Like:
make sure you're root first:Code:cd /home/user/MyDocs/Somewhere sh psfreedom-enable
orCode:root
Code:sudo gainroot
