{cell-signal-bars} and {cell-signal-strenth} work here; on full strength the first one gives me the value 5 while the second one gives me 100...

For a dynamically changing signalbar image, in Billboard write:

<</usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons/icon-s-status-network{cell-signal-bars}.png>>

@thp:

Have you done any testing on how much battery this property uses? Seems like it could cause a lot of updates on Billboard.

What's the difference to using the signalbar.sh? Works fine here...

To decrease the space between clock and Billboard text I edited the libsysuid-screenlock-nokia.css. Somehow the update renewed it to default 6mm and I forgot in which folder that .css belongs. Actually can't find the relating thread where I found that solution, could someone share plz?

As far as functionality goes, nothing. I guess that it's cheaper for BB to go for the image directly instead of it running the shell script every time the signal strength changes.

And one doesn't have to know a single thing about scripts...

Found the folder for libsysuid-screenlock-nokia.css.
Now (how) can I use the {cell-signal-strength} tag within the signalbar.sh script?
I put it in there but it won't show properly.
I want to use the script because I want different colors depending on signal strength and have integrated "Flightmode on" if thats activated.

Ah, that wasn't obvious... Sorry, can't find anything that would show that.

Please, show us the script to get a better idea of what you are trying to do.

Does anyone know how to get the current cellular radio mode (2g or 3g)?
