Wow seems like opera mobile for maemo is being developed by opera officially rather than by hobbyist developers in past. But I (we?) want OPERA MINI as well for cheap and fast browsing via network data. Please consider porting opera mini as well. I am pretty sure porting opera mini would take far less time than the time taken for current port.

its weird, only me cant open it.
I tried apt-get purge, remove .opera under home/user. Still couldnt run it.
Downgrade to version 10.1
It's not just you. I'm having the same issue. Opera just doesn't want to start. It loads for few seconds and then just shuts down.... :-(
Does anyone has any idea what could causing this???

I see in help, there are a list of keyboard shortcuts, which look awesome (cycling through tabs, etc). I can't get any of these to work. Am I missing something, or do these not work on Maemo?

Opera Mini is a Java App that already works fine in Maemo when you have Microemulator 3 (not the 2.x from repo) and the relatively new Oracle Arm-Linux Java Runtime (JRE).
Both is not in the repos but can be easily found with Google. If you need help installing it all the needed info is here on TMO.
I run Opera Mini in it when i'm on shitty slow expensive international roaming.
You can also run a bazillion of other Java Apps on Microemu3+Oracle JRE.
