Find a llama-agent and get Nokia N9 smartphone immediately handed to you. So by winning you get Nokia’s first MeeGo smartphone before rest of the Finland

LOL
Why not? Has marxian ever said he would only develop for fully open source smartphone platforms? I haven't seen that post. And besides, good luck finding a fully open source smartphone platform at this time anyway.
Also a lot of people enjoy their N900 a lot (I am one of them), so I wouldn't call maemo a fiasco.
I think their is a very good chance that I will be very happy with an N9, so I can imagine other people might be too (maybe marxian, and yourself also)
Why would you assume Maemo users would follow Nokia and switch to WP? I think a lot (most??) N900/maemo users chose the N900 because of the open/hackable nature of the device, not because it was a Nokia device. I don't think they are very much brand oriented, and I think in general they are more informed about the tech than the average smartphone customer. So I think it much more likely that maemo users would switch to a (jailbroken) iPhone or (rooted) Android device.
The question is if they will buy the N9 before they make the switch to iOS/Android.

then i will save 20 people a hell of a lot of grief and hassle to put it bluntly but when you make a promise you do your very best to keep it and hence why i am attempting to get these rediculous devices with meego as an os.
They are already outdated hardware wise and i have tried to tell them this but i guess they are diehards like jalyst and all need there heads examined in my opinion.
I have my serious side and this post is one of the rare moments you will get any sense out of me, as for the rest of this thread apart from the very few sain , the rest of you are just loonies wanting this stupid N9 .
My advice is forget this N9 and wait for the new dual core cpu's that will hit the market early next year, a MUCH better proposition if you ask me.
Nokia has screwed a LOT of people now and ALSO this community so why are you wasting your energy to be screwed once again is beyond my imagination but hey... you make your beds......

Check out

The video here shows NFC on Samsung Galaxy S2 that will be released in Canada (Telus) and probably US (T-Mobile). I think At&t version coming in a week also has NFC. Apparently the Sprint version does not have NFC but I'm not sure.
