Just upgraded to qtweak 9.8.0, then went to remove inception via tweak EE-1. After pressing enter and putting root password the phone rebooted. Now it's in rebootloop and will have to flash again (Just made a backup so no big deal).
Anyone else removed inception via tweak EE-1? I don't know if the problem was that I didn't install coderus aegis-install before removing it.

I uninstalled manually and got thrown into a boot loop, also. After a fresh start...we are good to go.
HOWEVER, after applying my tweaks, FileBox ROOT is not saving my settings (theme color, show hidden files, etc). Any guess what's going on there? Everything else appears to be working as it should.

Can anyone help me with this?
Probably you played with toggles from status menu (ALS, blanking).
Try to deactivate this toggle from status menu or try tweak BB-1-2 and BB-3-1

You sure aegis install installed correctly ? Can you try again from tweak EE-2 and post output.

It strange that you are number 3 that got reboot-loop... I tested it on both my devices before release this version. All work like expected...
Now I see also fnldstntn used EE-1 without any problem... You not need coderus aegis-install before removing it.
How work Tweak EE-1:
1. It check if restok file have word "Rank". if it have "Rank -100" it will run restok-fixer script:
Code:
ariadne sh -c "sh /opt/N9QTweak/SYS/restok-fixer.sh"
2. Uninstalling 3 packages of inseption:
Code:
apt-get remove --purge -y aegis-local-source-policy inception-bin inception
3. installing hack-installer, that will install coderus patched aegis-install and opensudo.
4. ask you to create USER pass.
5. ask you to reboot.
That all...

You mean you uninstalled inception manually (not from tweak) and you got reboot-loop ?
Before applying fileboxROOT, Open normal filebox, navigate to some folders and exit. Now Apply fileboxROOT, try to save setting exit and open again to check. If still not saved, try again open normal filebox, play with it a little and try again to save setting in fileboxROOT.

Probably you installed Coderus Aegis-install not from Tweak EE, you did it manually ? If yes this is a problem, because tweak checking if opensudo installed, because i DON'T know how to check if Aegis-install patched or not... Tweak EE-1 and EE-2 will install Aegis-install and opensudo that needed for some tweaks.
Just go to tweak EE-2 and install it.

Yes, that is what I mean. I have a second N9 and I did the same thing (manually remove Inception, NOT with N9QT) and it worked fine. The only difference is that the second N9 had all packages installed with Inception removed first. I read that that shouldn't matter, though...

Thanks for the tips, I will try them.

Inception uninstall never asked for me to reboot it. It just shutdown and then tried to reboot. Neither did ask me to create a user pass.

I installed CoDerus Aegis-install from tweak EE-2 and Aegisctl from EE-4; and then T-3-1-0 (CoDeurs Unrestricted System-UI) but it doesn't work, output says missing dependencies. Also the same on tweak HH, it says i need CoDerus Aegis-install or open-mode installed, so CoDerus Aegis-install doesnt work?.
