So I just tried scph7502 (renamed to scph1001), and it seems to get one screen further - but still the game doesn't start. All the Sony crap loads, but never the actual game. All the stuff is in MyDocs as it should be, so I wonder what else I might be missing.

why are ppl remaming scph7502 to scph1001?

i use 1001 and have bo probs with ff7 etc

God knows... arent they 2 different BIOS's???

@Faze go to the location where you have your bios stored on terminal e.g. /home/user/ then type: mv scph1001.bin /home/user/MyDocs/

this should shift the scph1001 bios to MyDocs from the user folder.... hope this helps...

yeah,
im guessing that 1001 is the first bios and 7502 is the latest/last bios.....

@Baron - Hmmm seems strange to me. Surely just renaming the BIOS does not change it to 1001?? Maybe in name but nothing else... Sorry if I'm wrong.. Can anyone confirm?

i guess psx4all is set up to use a bios with the name 1001.
so any of the numerous bios files would prob work when named to that.

i was just wandering if it was done for performance reasons or because certain bios' ran games that others didnt?
