Hmm, a brand new version of the Roomba! They might have changed the IR protocol for it. (Actually, I'm not entirely sure that all models even support IR control -- the manual says "optional accessory for selected models" in the Remote Control chapter.)
I'll take a look around if someone has posted an updated config file...
Edit: The Roomba manual also states that the "Home Base" and "Virtual Walls" will interfere with an infrared remote control, as they are apparently using the same IR ports for communication. So, you can't use the remote when the robot is near those items...

I'm not currently using any virtual walls. I've also tried using Pierogi near and far from the base station. I did read on the manual how the IR ports can be blocked by those devices. It's to bad because it would be nice to be able to remotely (via IR) start the iRobots cleaning cycle since the unit I have doesn't have the scheduling feature the higher models have.
I have a Samsung 7000 series LED TV. According to my tape measure, Pierogi works fine up to 10ft (~3m). Anything out of that and it is a hit or miss. Is that distance consistent with your tests?

Actually, I'd love to know the range of Pierogi to any device, not just the most problematic ranges. If I can make a little plot of worst-to-best, it might be easier to see what the best protocols are doing right as well as what the worst protocols are doing wrong...

OK edited to ask for all column to be filled.
Also added a working example of "LG Keyset 1" to the table.
The question is where do you call an issue an issue.
I have put 2.5m on one of my latest updates but my other device gets 4m.
I suppose the issue actually indicates if it works from were you would expect it to and/or compared with the stock remote?

(Which reminds me; maybe an additional column for the controlled device's make and model would be useful.)
