Yeah wtf is up with that?

I use Firefox on my desktop PC (Fedora), but have removed Flashplayer, and find myself having to use Google Chrome when I want to view BBC content.

It's 2015 guys!

Yes and BBC removed API allowing kodi to be used for BBC, this did work very nicely for some time.

PS! What about BBC' Android app? It that working OK?

One tip - as mpv uses youtube-dl, it can open a BBC link directly. Otherwise I use get_iplayer for radio (inc. live). Works very well. Bound keys to them in my browser, too.

Sorry for continuing O/T.

Wish I'd waited too, when I eventually get to pay the vat it won't far off the jolla store price.

Not sure, as for my situation it seems I can enjoy some profit.

199 USD * 0,82 Euro / USD (11/2014) = 163 Euro for Tablet
25 * 0,90 Euro / USD = 22,5 Euro (29/03/2015) for upgrade to 64GB
20 * 0,90 Euro / USD = 18 Euro (29/03/2014) for transport

Total = 203,5 Euro

+VAT 21% on USD invoice of 244 USD => 51,2 USD * 0,88 USD / Euro (exchange rate to be seen in early Sept) = 45,09 Euro

That gives a total price of 249 Euro for 64 GB, transport included vs 310,26 Euro in case I would order with the currrent pre-order option.

That's a difference of 61 Euro's or 20% discount something or a Lastu Case.

Bonus:

+supported campaign to make it happen

+be FIRST ONE™ to receive the tablet (and to collect huge eBay price) because pre-orders start shipping weeks later.

So I don't regret to be early backer.

PS Correct me if I am wrong, pls

edit: adjusted from 24% to 21% VAT tax.

BTW, the Jolla Tablet web page has been updated a bit to show that pre-orders are now being taken. The rest hasn't been changed too much, but there is at least one screenshot that looks new to me:

Good maths! I think I bought at $209 + 20 + 25 + tax.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad I backed it, just would have meant it could have had a few extra Xmas beers if I waited
