You can gain access to your N900 by flashing it.

Then you can recover the password with, e.g. recoverlock.

Hello guys, at this point I just gave up and I am resorting to your help. Apparently there's no way for me to use john under Windows 10, and on my mac I get a wonderful "Unknown ciphertext format name requested" random error which in no way I could get over.
So I managed to extract the hash, but cannot decode it.
Would you mind helping me, please?
This is what I got:

Can someone crack that? I´ve been fighting like 2 hours without no success. All type of errors, but finally managed to get the code out, but then the program itself just says "Unknown ciphertext format name requested"

Thanks. Saved my day. Would have loved to do that myself, but wasnt able. Sometimes I just dont understand linux. Sometimes it give good directions what is wrong and sometimes not
