I just got the same call and they just told me the same. the previous order was cancelled and a new one made. I've been assured I'll have it next week. Soon the wait will be over. they say that Good things come to those who wait - I hope NOKIA keep it this way.

For all that believe that they have to wait only few minutes here the latest *definitive* release date from http://discuss.gdgt.com/nokia/n900/g...et-up-tonight/ : "we are hoping for a November release...but definitely this year." - Head up!

Mobile phones direct (Who also run nokia's UK retail) just told me that the latest date they have is now the 16th. So at least another week of delay in the uk.
