nokia has decided not to have an update for the phone as they are happy with the stability that it provides in the markets they have launched this phone in.

The update will come when you all least expect it. The key to the release, is to simply stop thinking about it.

my popcorns r finished now, and its 4rth april 2010 1:11pm, the universe is still 13 billion years old .... there is no update ...

i know as stated above and the fix is the reason why need pr 1.2 asap. small issue for some(nokia included) but high prio for me.

there is no app that pause the track when pressing the screen that I have missed?

There is one thing that bothers me about this.
There are tons of bugfixes already, which are completed a month or so ago, but aren't released, because they're part of this big PR 1.2.

Windows gets a handful of updates every week. So why can't the bugfixes be released for the N900 every week?
It should be even easier, since most of the software in question is open source...

Dont worry, you will know when 1.2 is out because there will be 300 new threads about it, followed very quickly by 300 threads of when is 1.3 out

So then, please vote here: Undelayed bugfix releases for Nokia (open source) packages.

It seems that noone pays any attention to these brainstorms, though.
