Schturman had identified the above as a result of tweak t-3 in n9qtweakv8.9 but its fixed in v8.9.1

reinstalled the 2 applets, rebooted, still broken.

?

that's strange did it download those 2 applets? There was someone else who was re-installing it too but the system wasn't redownloading the two applets instead the system was just installing them from the cache hence the issue...

Edit:

Profile applet: http://db.tt/F3Xchs6b

Sound settings applet: http://db.tt/swlqrDOY

Try installing the two via dpkg -i first and only if the system rejects them then incept them.

Merge doesnt work for me. Buttons jumped up and some off the apps was a red square, where you can close the program.
Had to put back to the original blanco and use the theme.

MK99,

What you can do is merge them with caution...Look thru' every folder and .css file individually an see what are the differences...Also you can do a diff on a .css from f2thak and from blanco to see the main differences...

Could you tell me what tweaks you want from N9QTweak that are only applying to blanco and not to F2thak's theme?

Maybe I can help you with alternative solutions instead of doing a merge...

thedead1440,

I overwrite the original files with the theme files. I'm just testing it out.
Maybe it's harder work to combine those.
It is only the orientation and swipe launcher icon and folder style, which need to be changed. But I already have a solution for them.

Ah if you have a solution its ok...

Just a tip...Next time you want to know what n9qtweak does to your system, just uncompress the .deb, look thru' the master script and the attached files...

That way you can do those things even on a custom theme...

Yup its a no-win situation...The bars suddenly disappear...Mine was fixed just opened it now and its gone! Now the re-installation doesnt help...Will investigate what else can be done [but don't think much can be done ]...

Surprisingly your status menu is taking up the whole screen...Its like back to the good ol' days when I stopped using any status menu extension due to it filling up my screen in the most horrendous fashion possible

Coderus is fixing T-3 hopefully this issue is fixed when Schturman releases v9

Edit: Just saw http://mymeegos.net/developer_mode/u...ted-system-ui/

Coderus looks to have put up a new version yesterday...Maybe try it and see if it fixes things up with the older version uninstalled first...I'll test it in a few hours too once I have some free time...

Edit 2: I installed the files from the above link and the status menu unfortunately fills up the whole screen...Doing an apt-get install --reinstall for both soundsettingsapplet & profileapplet however fixes things up...So the main drawback from the new version is the filling up of the screen...Will report this back on that site hopefully its fixed in the next update by coderus...
