I really want to purchase one Gerbick. Gosh, I miss my N900. I'm looking for a black or red 16GB. Can you get them soon?

Just made upfront payment for a 64GB N9 (only black for 64GB) at one of the larger Nokia stores in Malaysia... According to staff, it should be in on October 7th - and it comes with a free BH-505 for a lucky X number of customers who have placed deposits or paid in full. I say X because they aren't certain how many units of the BH-505 are allocated.

Here's hoping the N9 arrives on time or early!!!

Edit: Had a chance to play with the display units available at the store - sexy beast!!!

Shipping confirmation due today. Exciting. Could have it potentially tomorrow I guess. Most likely Monday or Tuesday.

You're assuming that if this thing exists, that it will ever be called "Meltemi". Maemo5 was called "Fremantle" before release, the N9 is running "MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan" ("Harmattan" before release, though they only tacked the end bit on to make the LF/Intel people happy, probably).

I assume since Maemo5 wasnt called Fremantle and Meego 1.2 isnt called Harmattan, that Meltemi wont be called Meltemi, but something along the lines of Meego/Maemo type crap. Hell, call it BirdLeg or IntestinalSore, who cares :s .

1280x1024 ?? what would you use that for? or is it the kind of phone you can't put in your pocket?

Larger screen (4.5-5" depending on the model) and higher resolution (dot-pitch). Duh.
