I only tested with Win 7, witch worked just nice.

What you mean it did not work? Did the glovepie failed launch or something else?

I notised that when you put the mac adress to the Glovepie, you have to leave "-" marks, other it dont work. You can also modify "n900.pie" straight from the glovepie, no need to use notepad.

maybe its because i have a 64 bit win 7 system or something. do u remember exactly what u wrote on the last line where u add the mac address, because mine is always highlighted in red with an error message about math functions.

Excellent program in every way, the only thing bothering me and for which I couldn't find a clear answer in this thread nor google was:

Can you use the left stick as a D-pad: push stick forward = up etc.

Got it to perform nicely. Many thanks for your efforts!! Now I can re-live my childhood playing Super Mario Bros, lol!! A quick question, if I overclock to 800MHZ or so, will it mess up the works?

Hi guys, I've been trying to use sixpair to set up a ps3 pad on an N900 for a friend. I've followed the guide http://tomasz.sterna.tv/2010/02/play...is-controller/ .

I have vista x64 on my machine so I opted to try out an ubuntu live usb disk. I've not used Linux that much but I've followed all the steps and it wouldn't work. Googling for more info eventually led me here, and after reading through this thread (yes, all 80 pages!), I'm still stuck. I've tried the various alternative commands and methods (such as Devildrivers a few pages back) but sixpair just will not function. I'm using the precombiled binary because I couldn't get the uncompiled one to compile, it keeps giving me an error message. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. After typing in

sudo ./sixpair XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

I get a message telling me that sixpair is not a directory or file. Yes I'm in the correct directory when I use the terminal. I've even tried moving the files to a usb stick to place on ubuntu's desktop and then cd'ing to it using the terminal, same thing. I don't have access to a machine running a 32bit version of windows so I can't try any other methods. Help please, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Can somebody help me I am using a Windows XP Home Edition machine, I cant install the Linux Live CD. Tried using the LibUSB and GlovePIE programs . When I connect the DS3 via USB on the computer libusb program shows it as connected. The problem is with GlovePIE. I tried opening the file N900.pie (inside GlovePIE directory ) to edit it and put my N900 bt address, but couldnt. So I created folder called SixaxisScripts and copied the 4 files inside it, ( the .pie n900 one modified with my bt address ) ( Pearphs I am editing wrong, could someone gime a example, maybe I misse a space , is this right

// Load Bluetooth MAC address in sixaxis
// ( Script by Morka )
//
SIXAXIS.Led1 = 1 //on
SIXAXIS.Led2 = 0 //off
SIXAXIS.Led3 = 0 //off
SIXAXIS.Led4 = 0 //off
debug = sixaxis.BluetoothMAC
if pressed(sixaxis.PS) then
sixaxis.BluetoothMAC = "6C:9B:02:BE:E6:2B"

And from the Glove PIE program with DS3 connected and showing on libUSB I tried opening the n900.pie file and clicked run. Pressed the PS controller button, it started to vibrate constantly until a disconnect it from the PC. Also in 1 of the tries I click on CP-Settings then clicked on joystick it showed the ps3 controlled and I tried adding it gave me a message that some drivers are not correct or something. Please somebody give a help. Maybe the problem is that I couldnt modifie the file inside the ZIP file (GlovePIE directory). If somebody has a question or help Please as I want to get this working. Thank you.

Finally I got this working doing my method copying the file n900.pie and editing. I think it worked after I reseted the DS3 with the button on its back. Now I am using with drnoksnes and cps2 emulators working normal but with some lags due to bluetooth connection speed, it is like 0,1 sec difference but is playable . Will try to fix the speed. But at least I got this working thanks everybody. Going to playing RIGHT NOW ..

Guys, how do i set the simulator to use this controller? It seems like my controller has already connected to my N900 (test using jstest) but there is no option on the emulator to use this controller, most of them offers keyboard or touchscreen.

Hello everybody,

I get my Sixaxis controller works on my N900. I remapped some keys by editing the "20-x11-sony-sixaxis.fdi" file.

Now, I would like to play to the "Duke Nukem 3D" port. But the main issue is that it requires the "ESC" key (which doesn't exist on the N900 keyboard).

Is it possible to map, on the Sixaxis controller, a key which doesn't exist on the N900 keyboard ?
If it is possible, then, do you know what keycode must be used for the "ESC" key ?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
