Nice work 'wakko', tho a bit over kill with the wire
Don't see any problems with you battery's supping over 10AMPS if they could with that wire, but if it works it works

I've been doing, watching your pictures and video. On the "wire" voltage is not reduced. Everything was smeared with sealant and closed. Shows 10 hours and 15 minutes of video at maximum illumination. Sorry, the English is bad. Works great!

hey dr frost. there is this new widget available in the repos.it shows time remaining, charging, voltage. battery percentage etc. its called qtbatteryewidget. but it is based on the normal battery data in sthe status bar. can u please change it to reading the original data like in your battery meter pelase?

In the Chinese city of Da Li last week, I came across a SCUD store. I went in and asked about BL5J batteries. They had two: the 1st 1700 mAh the second, either 1300 or 1500.

I scooped up the 1700 mAh "business" battery, but later realised it'not even made by SCUD. Maybe the lesser battery was.

BatteryGraph says it is 1200ish mAh, but is there a way to get an accurate-ish capacity without special equipment?

I am building up my courage to solder, I forsee many problems namely 3 degree burns and I have taken out insurance on my fingers just in case!!! if somehow I survive all that intact is there any particular type of wires I require??
