Hello.
I have a rev. 2101 and I have some trouble finding stable settings for recording and watching 720p. Seams that the default DSP profile does not suit rev. 2101 very well.
Maybe you can help me.
So what is your kernel-config nowdays with the new KP49 running on your rev. 2101?

Hi. I did what the first page says but I can not play any video. I know you are going to say read them again, but I did. I copied libgstdsp.so to the correct folder via terminal to /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10 but I still can not play anything. I have kp49 and the dsp is overclocked to 600. What can I do to solve this? BTW I used OMP and stock player.

Is there a way to allow the bleeding edge wl1251-maemo drivers and the dsp codecs required to work on the same device ?

I tried installing the codecs above many different ways and removing gstreamer many different ways however lxp's drivers and the v49 kernel seem to have some issues with each other.
My n900 ends up in a boot loop after trying to reboot.
I've exhausted everything i can think of.

Is anyone else experiencing this or anything similar as well ?

I would like to avoid dual boot for two kernels.

ANY and all thoughts would be helpful. Things look pretty grim from my seat.

720p video recording & viewing worksforme together with bleeding-edge wifi drivers. Which is no surprise, as they're totally unrelated to each other

I think i might have narrowed down the issue to the optional osso patch thats causing the issue. I'm still testing but i'll look into this further and let you guys know my results.

Which has nothing to do with HD codecs. You've either disabled videocall or the guy's device you're trying to call does not support videocall.
