This would also be very useful. Actually, my next suggestion would have been something like this. Maybe still keep the alarms in the "application","clock" -domain, if it's possible from another application. My reasoning for this is that you have all the alarms
(not calendar events etc.) in the same place where they can be seen and enabled/disabled. I haven't got a clue if any of this is actually possible or if alarms set from other applications than the clock would show up in the clock UI...
Yes. I use my phone every morning as an alarm clock. I'm usually the first one up and I'd like my phone to do stuff when I wake up, like switch the profile to ringing, turn on a light and maybe wake up my computer. The trouble with this is that I don't go to work at the same time every day. So I use a recurring alarm that is always the same name but I change the enabled/disabled state and/or time the previous evening.

Your method is almost better because it won't execute the commands until I actually touch the phone. This would allow for a snooze or two. Or maybe it's worse just because of that...

Is it possible to change audio volume? It seams to affect volume of the alerts I use to wake - or at least try ;-).

Looking through this thread, I've seen at least one other person reporting this happening to them too, but haven't seen a fix for it. I saw you were asking for someone with this issue to do some testing and I would be more than happy to do this, I'm just not sure what all to do. Sorry if a fix has already been found for this, this is a long thread
~ $ devel-su ~ # /sbin/initctl stop apps/profilematicd ~ # exit ~ $ /opt/profilematic/bin/profilematicd
Edit: lucky post #777, what do i win?

Do you think Profilematic would ever be able to use this time picker? http://va-sorokin.blogspot.co.il/201...an-native.html

Another action from this could be to also cancel or replace an alarm.
As I wrote that, I realised that maybe the action could be the answer. I could maybe have an NFC tag that would set an alarm (and other stuff) for the next morning. Picking the time would be a problem, though... hmm. I'm starting to ramble.
I wonder how other people use alarms on the N9? I have to give this some more thought.
Thanks for your time,
slarti
