I can't recall which MyNokiaBlog story it was now...
But in the comments section a user was lamenting not having a proper google+ client.
Nick Rolls reponded saying not-to-worry, he's intent on having a proper implementation.
He's just waiting on Google to release some more of the API etc.

The Google+ API is read-only atm, so you can't do much with it, although it would be OK just for displaying updates in the notifications area.

Cool, that makes two, you and Nick Rolls!

Just letting you guys know... good news, I did see one today though. So nice.
8000 Pesos is pretty damn good, that's about $594.5AUD.
Best price I've seen in Australia for 16GB is $639AUD, sans post.
Although I haven't yet begun to search intensively/systematically.
And Oz usually is more expensive than NA/EU, & much of Asia for CE.
Curious to know how good the 64GB will be....

I have never owned a phone with built-in battery. How do you reset the phone if phone/screen freeze and on/off button don't respond? You have to send it away?

Edit: or you Waits until battery run out? That could take days

I say X because they aren't certain how many units of the BH-505 are allocated.

Here's hoping the N9 arrives on time or early!!!

Edit: Had a chance to play with the display units available at the store - sexy beast!!!
Do you mean an actual "Nokia Store"??
Hmm, I wonder if they have some here in my hometown.
IIRC Australia is one of the countries that still has some physical Nokia Stores?
Maybe buying direct is cheaper than via any of the retailers or telco contracts.

Grammar Nazi alert:
I think you meant "predecessors".
Otherwise an excellent post!

Hi Gerbick, can you add me to the list for a black 64gb?

On some devices (my Samsung Galaxy Tab doesn't have an easily removable battery, for example--you have to take the shell apart to replace it, the Nook Color also doesn't have a battery you can easily get at), you hold down the power button for 10 seconds on both of these devices to force the device to power-off no matter what caused a crash. It's never failed on either of these. I'd assume the N9 probably implements a forced power-off similarly?

Thanks.
So it's an actual "Nokia Store" ala Apple Store?

Yep, most of the other stores in Malaysia are just shops with more Nokia stickers than other brands... this is one of 3 (I think) actual Nokia owned/operated stores.

guys, you are spamming way too hard for me to keep up with this thread. I'll try to answer some of your questions if you have some, just ask.

I've uploaded a video of the musicplayer, however the quality is very bad - i filmed it with my N8 but could not make it focus for some reason!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMiX2lcjQ6Y

All in all, this is a f-ing great phone!

edit:
Pros:
*Wifi hotspot works great and is super fast

*Antenna is slightly better than N8 (way better than iPhone4 white 32gb(...)) (for danes or people who know Denmark: trip from kbh til Svendborg and Marstal)
i.e. on and isolated island(marstal) the N8 has 2g connection, i4 losses connection frequently(as in no connection, then 2g) and N9 has 2,5g(? = edge?). (same carrier , of course)

* fast browser

* great build quality

* nice screen, Nokia said the icons looks like it is "2.5d"

Cons
* facebook (probably also twitter - I don't use twitter) doesnt remember password when connection is lost - so after everytime you reconnect you have to enter the password

* powerhungry! however, not more than fx Samsung GS2 in daily use

* no themes

* it's black, not cyan (but i've got an N9 unlike the rest of you

* swiping is soo addictive and intuitive - it's unbareble/annoying when you use your iphone or galaxy s2 afterwards

* no landscape mode
