So now how does turing security look like exactly if the user can do whatever he wants?
I mean, they go the length of doing a posh propriatary connector but leave it to the user to potentially open up everything else?
Help me, it looks like same "security level" as on any other sailfish device.
The development phone is wide open as far as security but I think the finished model will be closed up

Is this wishful thinking or do you have some information about this from somewhere?

No, it is free. Only advertising posts costs (big) money. I pay 5€ / week from my general PR budget to have a selected post reach 1k-2k viewers that are not already "fans" of my site.
The selectors are frightingly precise though.

But on topic, it is is general practice to hire someone or pay a service that manages your business site. Obviously someone with exclusive access rights in this case.

The juicy bits are to be found on reddit!

Users there claimed in the past that the now closed FB page was effectively the official turing com channel.

They concluded that from turing not answering any requests on reddit since long time, whereas on the FB page it states in a pinned post that the sub-reddit is indeed the official channel.

Even Jolla states this evening that turing has informed them that the closed FB page is not theyr official channel for support.

Now i conclude either Turing did not have an active official channel under own control or it was closed today.

My Turing Phone experiences:

* Nice design
* Large and bright 5,5" screen, high pixel density.
* Pretty well working fingerprint reader
* Charges relatively quickly/magnetic charger
* Relative good battery runtime (in my case approximately 2 days)
* Apps opens relatively quickly
* Most Android apps (that i use) works very well.

* Spontaneous reboots and shutdown on Wifi
* Sim/microSDcard tray holder seems to been very picky and i think that sim card must be placed exact right position before phone recognize it.
* Camera: no yet HDR mode and aspect ratio 16:9 results in 2 MPix pictures
* No partner space view or Turing apps
* Screen scratches very easily, i suggest to use screen protector very first day.
