What Elop is trying to do is stop that little marketing thing they call 'cannibalism' which is bound to happen in those big markets. It would've ended up being Nokia n9 vs Nokia WP7....now he can't possibly have that cuz distribution of n9 is so limited. He needs to save face with the WP7 strategy he chose. This is one way of forcing it on consumers. Using the Nokia brand power but with ONE choice of platform.

On friday the Telenor physical shops in Norway got a message from Telenor HQ that the N9 was en route to the stores, which could mean that the N9 is to be found in stores near you shortly (if you fight polar bears to get to 7/11 in the mornings, club baby seals on dull afternoons and eat whale constantly, this concerns you).

In sweden there is some marketing already but where the **** is the device
I begginig to think the will only release a few then in end all say "next batch comes around ennd of october" means around the same time as Nokia World and probadly Eflop ****ing WP phone gets released and then they dont need to release more N9 perfect way to kill n9 stupid idiots.I hope I am wrog but if I dont hear aalot people actuallyh GET the device next week I actually gives upp on this ridicilous company steered by a bunch of idiots.

Any cannibalism of the sales from their intended WP7 course from Harmattan should be seen in how they can adapt, alter or overcome any perceived shortcomings in their WP7 offerings.
