You need not only devel-su priviledges. You need to issue develsh (after devel-su), otherwise you are not the king of the hardware

yeah, it would be damn good =)
I've got the second n9 for my experiments recently and just loaded it with ubiboot, kernel plus and all the stuff needed… long story short, I also have this bug with "No answer \n Found 0 APs" despite following the man from the first page )) changing mac of mon0 doesn't help, but I'll try more)

Yes, I see you problem.
Its all explained in 1st post, but, dteps you are missing from that is:
You need not only devel-su priviledges. You need to issue develsh (after devel-su), otherwise you are not the king of the hardware
You also need to change the mac address of mon0 once that is created, like explained in first post.
