I think the conclusion was that the fix didn't actually fix anything. In any case, if you wait 7 more days, the fix won't be necessary. The leap year bug only affects days until the end of February.

I saw some posters claiming significant improvement in the GPS thread, so...?

Hasn't this one been pretty thoroughly debunked by now? :-)

(not that I blame you, I thought the BestBuy pic said N830 as well)

Good Lord above, I hope not. On both counts (calling it "N8x0 Air", nor assuming that having WiMAX and Wifi means it doesn't need any sort of storage card slot).

I know it was written with tongue firmly stuck in cheek, but still.. there are too many who actually think that there's truth to this idea ("get your NIT 24/7 online with enough bandwidth and free umpteen gigs at storage.google.com and what do you need SD slots for?"). Well, that doesn't help when the camera which is 5 inches away doesn't have the same connectivity.. how to dump its SD content to the NIT? That's what you need SD slots for. Just to name one.

I'd rather they steal the guys that designed the iPhone's touch screen interface.

What is so wonderful about the touch screen interface??

I personally there is nothing great other then the responsiveness when we touch any icon. If the current tablets were given more ram and a better processer like the iphone.... even our apps will respond immediatly.

For what it's worth, I just picked up a paper version of the Buyer's Guide at Best Buy today, and it definitely says N810.
