Okay, I am pretty sure I have this crash fixed. 0.4-2 is being uploaded to extras-devel, and should be there within the hours. Please test it out and let me know.

I have also fixed the very sluggish control bar for setting opacity.

Well, I tried the opacity function and that crashed my desktop. But after restarting, setting a new try on opacity worked fine.

Thanks.

Did the crash happen while you were moving the slider, or after you hit "OK" in the dialog? Do you remember where you had it set?

Version 0.5-2 is out and in extras. This version adds an icon, fixes some animation problems, fixes a desktop crash when running setup for the first time, and is the first version released outside of extras-devel.

alephito: The crash you mention is fixed in this version. I think it only happened the first time you run the setup program.

Let me know if there are any problems this time around!

0.5-2 is still crash my diablo desktop, after i installed and reboot.

after i reboot, there is already a 'camera desktop icon' there , which was added by me with version 0.4-2 several days ago .Though i have uninstalled 0.4-2 before i install 0.5-2, the 'camera desktop icon' is still there, when i click the icon, my desktop crashed.

The camera icon being there is because uninstalling does not remove the setup files.

Try removing the icon and adding some more applications. Does this still crash the desktop?

not crash now! but...
a. added icon is displayed half-sized
b. after several times click and close. the added icon disappeared , i must reboot to recall the icon
c. after i add a app , there is no way to add another one, i mean, the 'add a new app' icon disappeared .
