No, I meant plug it in with the power adaptor, to the wall, so it's charging while I'm using it. I pretty much guessed that running any kind of external devices via USB would drain power, so make sure I'm not on battery when I use it^^

And what about using a self powerd Bluetooth keyboard then ?
I tried with the very nice Apple wireless keyboard (alu one with wite keys) ... and it works very well !

Bluetooth doesn't seem to suck so much power ...

Nice! But it looks a little pricey... I got a F-F connector and a flexy keyboard for £3 I looked into bluetooth but couldn't find anything with in my price range.

How much did that set you back (if you don't mind me asking)?

It was gifted to me, but you can check the price on Apple store easily in your country ...

So you use a FEMALE adapter ... ??? That's why it's written "female" on your Biopage !?

Thanks Tso! So it doesn't stop being in Host mode even after closing?! I haven't used the USB thingy since posting here, wanting to try all your suggestions first, so maybe this is the thing that is causing the problem?

Mind you it was draining fast long before I installed and started using the external keyboard... So maybe not...

Ok Dumb questions time.... How does one turn it back to whatever it was doing before?

Are there any other USB host programmes out there better than USB Control?

You were lucky Totololo!! I can't find one under £30! I think I'll have to stick with my cheapo flexy one It has the bonus of being Pink

Lol Yeah! Just another reason to have Female on my bio It has so many uses! And yet still no one reads it

It's not impossible to drain more power than the charger is putting in, i've done it before

Regarding the post about a possible faulty wall adapter, my orginal nokia adapter seemed to go bad recently...battery would never say it was full when plugged in, now if i left it plugged in the car charger...it would charge and say battery full as it should. Bought a new charger from walmart and it works great, though my battery needed replacing as well and that just got in today so Im happy. LOL Is there much more noticeable battery drain when using advanced-power?
