yes, you have to read this forum! it's a bit difficult with the current signal/noise ratio, but there is good information to be found nevertheless!

look at this bug f.ex.
nokia was trying to solve that before the final release. it looks like it's a bit more complicated than they've anticipated, so support for "3" sims has been postponed. but it was their intention to sort it out before release, one of the nokians has confirmed that on this board.

We know there have been subsequent builds since then that Nokia didn't release to the three hundred for testing though, so what will be released to retail now won't have had the benefit of that wider testing.
how many RC versions are there for any software usually? one, two at the most.
those subsequent builds were all internal "nightly" builds, which never get released to RC testers. no company does that.

how do you conclude that the wider testing won't benefit the retail version? people are reporting bugs with their devices, nokia tries to fix them. additional RC releases is not a requirement for that.

Peter!

I think you should take a chat with Nokia Sweden about this!
I'm quiet sure they are not allowed to do this

I thought so too, they don't allow to post these at Discussion Nokia forum.
But this is an open community development forum, I reckon it's ok.
If not, moderators feel free to remove.

What's the harm in knowing where your device is made/market for?
