It was in the wiki, but some stupid admin decided to delete it.

There is a package in my repository (which is unfortunately down right now) called bluetooth-dun-client which includes all the necessary dependencies, files and gconf settings, requiring you only to edit the rfcomm file for the correct address of your BT phone and the chat file for the APN of your provider.

It is best if you can find instructions for connecting to your ISP using Linux. Whatever advice in such instructions will probably apply here as well.

the IRC peeps said the instructions and the script there won't work because the N900 isn't running kde, i thought you said instructions for linux would sufice....can i use any of the info from there?

I don't see anything there which might be related to the error you see. Did you try the advice in the link I gave ?

When I saw something similar it was when the ISP required username/password, and I did not provide them. Are you sure the username you use is correct? How did you configure it?
