Extracted from the first post from Lacedaemon...

//== Theme Installation ==\\

1) To install you need to transfer the downloaded .deb file to your N900(for example Documents folder)
2) Open xterm and type(you need rootsh for this):
Code:
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i MyDocs/.documents/darksky.deb3) Close xterm, go to Desktop -> Desktop Menu -> Themes to change theme.

If the theme doesn't look as it should it is suggested to reboot your phone after the installation.

I am not sure if you can apply non transparent icons, but I will send a new version to you via PM to test it out.
Thanks, Lacedeamon. I will be happy to test. Transparent is great, it would just be nice to have the same colors as the taskbar has. Can they be both (transparent and the same color)?

Best regards,
Corwin

They are both transparent and same gradient color. It's just that your background wallpaper makes them look different I suppose.

dpkg -i nokia n900/documents/darksky.deb

but keep getting:
dpkg error processing nokia (--install):
cannot access archive: no such file or directory.

I installed it to my folder: Nokia N900/documents

i guess I'm being a numpty so can anyone help me out please?

You should type "MyDocs" not "mydocs"
