I don't regreat spending all that money... at all! But sometimes, I do feel like it's too much money to pay for a gadget like this. Now that my money is gone, I'm enjoying the most of my N900! And it rocks!

Let me get this right: you started a negative, destructive thread because you are interested to see what people say. But when they say they love the device, you simply disregard that and believe they are lying; thus proving you don't want people to tall you their honest opinions, you have already decided what people think for yourself.

So exactly why did you open this thread again?

For example, yesterday I watched movies from my Win7 share using cifs
Could you please tell me how you did that? Since UPNP isn't working in this firmware, i'd love to use smb/cifs !

thx!

this is the best piece of tech i ever owned. 480 € well spent? no, i regret, i wish i could live on an island in micronesia instead, without phones and connections and all.

Here is my list of things that i've been dissapointed. My main idea was to buy device that offers functions needed in car. I thought that i could navigate, listen music and watch videos with same device...

- delayed release
- battery life
- not that good screen quality (full of scratches after 2 month of light use)
- lots of death pixels in screen
- lack of portrait mode
- poor signal strength in fm-transmitter (can't use in car)
- ovi maps without turn by turn navigation
- ovi store

Oh. And yes i'm starting to regreat spending that money. I'm a Nokia fan waiting for that perfect device. Sadly i could have saved tons of money being apple fanboy at the beginning.
