That may not be look pretty, nevertheless it could be as useful as a clean setup.
You could try to resize the partitions choosing 'Align to Cylinder' instead of the default 'Align to MB' settings at the bottom of the resize pop-up.

..nailed it..!

..just got back to Windows. I was able to resolve the grayed out unallocated areas as well - i deleted the partition and remade it - and got no unallocated areas. Then a restart - and IT IS WORKING..!! My N900 is back! with 22GB MyDocs & 7GB for [/opt].

Dear michaaa62, is there anyway by which i can show my gratitude to you in action..?! Do you accept donations, (yes, it'll be modest, i'm a student) or maybe if i can write an email to Nokia or someone in authority..!!
You're the greatest, you - single handed and in one easy go, solved a problem that plagued me for so long..! You're my hero..

N900 Internal memory is corrupted - photos contacts can not save - if i connect to PC in win7 in mas storage it showing 27GB and it is working properly

I find the problem it is original in VFTA file system but now it is converted in FTA 32 and it is not recognised in N900

I was flashed from windows XP EMMCC.bin and COMBINED_MR0_
ARM.bin but still same problem

Now - what can I do for this how can I sol this Problem.
Can i kill the partition and re flash the n900 ?

If I kill The partition How can i kill The Partition

I Edited the Post-on next day

I fixed Problem

i download this file, then using USB mass storage coped it onto My N900 (in the root directory)

Disconnect the N900 as normal then open a terminal and run

sh MyDocs/debug2.sh its take half hour and its now working properly

this is the file i download from hear.

http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/debug2.sh

When it has finished, reconnect the N900 in mass storage mode and you should find a file called debug2.txt.. If you could email that to me I'll have a look through..

this solution post from mobile guru and this is his email address is available at
http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/email.html

Thank you mobile Guru................

If you have data on the device, that you want to get back do a file system check on the partition.
You need rootsh package installed to get this working:
Code:
sudo gainroot
umount /dev/mmcblk0p1 # This might give you a neglectable error
fsck -af /dev/mmcblk0p1
mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /home/user/MyDocs
If you have no data on the device you might format the partition with a fresh file system. Again you need rootsh installed.
Code:
sudo gainroot
mkfs.vfat -n MyDocs /dev/mmcblk0p1
Please post the complete error message, if any error occur.
