We Norwegians are being ripped off. The level pack is 30 NOK here which equals to 3.61€ or 5.27$ (!) - which isn't that much anyways, so I'll still buy it

Unticking "Add card to Nokia accound" worked for me as well, but I was (luckily) charged only 1 NOK per attempt. I'm wondering if it's just a account check or if I'll actually be charged 1 NOK?

Awesome, my account is set on French - France like my device, and because i've an IP from Switzerland, Ovi Store is trying to charge me in CHF instead of EUR...

OK, here comes another "me too" with the payment issues. I tried 3 different cards from 3 different banks. Two of them are VISA and one of them is MasterCard. But nothing works.

I contacted my bank and credit card provider. They say that everything is OK at their end, but they haven't even received a connection attempt for the purchase. Now I have an open case about it with Nokia care. Let's hope something comes out of it.

But I believe, as some have already suggested, this could be the issues of using a foreign card with the localised Ovi Store. My cards are Finnish and I'm currently in Lithuania. I had the same issue with TomTom over here. Their payment system refused the transaction before it even tried to verify it with my credit card provider. It turned out that Lithuania is in the "black list" for foreign cards and they simply will not allow it.

UPDATE: I just tried to change the locale of my Ovi account from Lithuania to Finland and then try the purchase again, but it didn't help.

Had an issue with my American Express- they in fact called me because they thought it was a fraudulent charge. Confirmed it was ok - went through fine second time.

Is anyone else getting overcharged? I think I saw some comment to that effect.

My US $2.99 ended up being $3.18(taxes), which is OK, but there was also an additional $1.54 charged as well?
